Birmingham’s Supersonic Festival is arguably the best festival in the UK for left field, unusual and thought provoking musicians and workshops. It’s also Fighting Boredom’s favourite festival which must count for something. It is arranged and put on by Capsule and this year is on the weekend of the sixteenth of June.
They have just made the first lineup announcement and alongside the wonderful and quite insane MELT BANANA there are going to be performances from ARBOURETUM, COLIN STETSON, JENNY HVAL, LAURA CANNELL, OXBOW, PRINCESS NOKIA, RAIME and ZU.
I’m confident that there will be more excitement in the months to come as the lineup builds. We’re pretty stoked about it already.
